Sea Stacks

I had never been to the Oregon Coast and I had never, ever seen anything like sea stacks, except for the illustrations in the book, Black Hole by Charles Burns. They seemed other-worldly.
They're also everywhere.
These were my favorite sea stacks, as they were much much farther out in the ocean than any of the others I saw, which almost seemed to be an extension of the beach itself.
The distance of these sea stacks made me want to get close to them even more.
