Friend. After Process Screen Print

Screen Print on Lenox 100 Paper, 30" x 22", 2005

Using the silkscreen to paint "Friend." the way I did actually slowly destroyed it. There's only a certain number of times you can use the screen before the screen breaks up and the image printed is filled with noisy patches. The above is a print using the screen itself without anything masked by paper or tape. I think the print left - the imperfection - the signs of abuse and weakening, is beautiful.

Prints have been made on Lenox 100 Paper, "22 x 15 " - the image itself is 14" x 10" centered on this paper. The run has been limited to only twenty-five. Each print is signed, dated and numbered.
